About the magazine:
Supercomputing Asia is a print title dedicated to tracking the latest developments in high performance computing across the region and making supercomputing accessible to the layman. Each issue focuses on the different applications of Supercomputers across various industries.
About the issue:
In this issue of Supercomputing Asia, we explore the most exciting sport in supercomputing—the race to build the world’s first exascale supercomputer (The Race to Exascale, p.18). Though not currently in the exascale race, India has launched the ambitious National Supercomputing Mission—a seven-year project with a budget of US$640 million to build a network of 73 high performance computing centers (India’s Need For Speed, p. 38).
